It is a classic failure in these generations: the dial spins freely, the fog lights no longer turn on, or the lights turn off by themselves on rough roads.

A design tailored for your Volkswagen

Two finishes are available: the original black dial, part number 1C0941531A, and the chrome dial version, part number 1C0941531, which instantly refreshes the dashboard. In both cases, the backlit icons — parking lights, low beams, front and rear fog lights — remain perfectly legible at night.

Technology, quality & finish

The body is molded from UV-treated ABS, and the internal tinned copper contacts withstand the load of the lighting circuits without overheating. The dial's mechanical detents are calibrated to remain firm after thousands of operations, and the connector uses the original factory pin layout.

Installation, compatibility & durability

Replacement is within everyone's reach: with the ignition off, press the dial in slightly then turn it to release the switch, pull it out, disconnect the connector and plug in the new one. Allow five minutes, with no special tools required. Before purchasing, check the part number and the number of pins on your original part, as these vary depending on the equipment and model year.

Get lighting that responds with a quarter turn: order your Volkswagen lighting switch today.

Type: Lighting switch / headlight control switch
Compatible Make / Model: Volkswagen Bora, Golf 4, Passat B5, Sharan, Lupo, Polo, Beetle
Years: Depending on the model
Material: UV-resistant ABS, tinned copper contacts
Installation: Plug-in, no special tools required
Condition: 100% New
Main function: Control of parking lights, low beams and fog lights — ref. 1C0941531 / 1C0941531A

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0741/7911/7343/files/S987dac08114d469580a23505e1827ca5I.webp?v=1786492367
