It addresses the most commonly reported fault: the window only going down after pressing several times, the switch becoming loose, or the window control no longer responding at all while the window still works from the central screen.

A design tailored for your Tesla Model X

The unit follows the sleek design of the Tesla door panel: same dimensions, same clip tabs, same slightly satin finish. Once installed, it aligns perfectly with the interior handle and decorative insert, with no gaps or difference in shine. The understated interior of the Model X is preserved, with no sign whatsoever that the part is aftermarket.

Technology, quality & finish

The mechanism uses a sealed microswitch, protected from moisture that seeps into the door panel and eventually oxidizes the tracks of the original part. The return spring restores the short travel and firm return of the factory part, including in one-touch mode. The body is molded from color-matched ABS: a scratch on the ring leaves no white mark.

Installation, compatibility & durability

Installation is straightforward: unclip the old control with a plastic trim tool, disconnect the ribbon cable, plug in the new one, and push back until it clicks. About ten minutes is all it takes, without going to the service center or requiring any software intervention. Check the part number printed on the back of your current button and the orientation of the connector before ordering, as the window control has evolved during production.

Enjoy a window control that responds on the first try: order your window switch now.

Type: Power window control button
Compatible make / model: Tesla Model X
OEM part numbers: 1028641 / 1028641-00-A
Years: Depending on the model
Material: Color-matched ABS, sealed microswitch
Installation: Direct clip-in, no recoding required
Condition: 100% New
Main function: Power window control

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0741/7911/7343/files/Scbc9a5bfb3e14fafbb44234d7f1229cfD.webp?v=1786491389
