Give your Audi's front end a radical transformation with this gloss black RS5-style grille. Designed specifically for 2016–2019 Audi A5 and S5 B9 models, this major bodywork upgrade gives your vehicle a controlled aggression and an instantly sporty look. Its honeycomb design, a hallmark of Audi Sport performance models, stands out with a deep black finish that contrasts perfectly with the bodywork.

The signature RS honeycomb pattern: what it does for an A5

The change from a chrome horizontal-slat grille to an Audi A5 B9 honeycomb grille is noticeable from the front, but also from the three-quarter view. The hexagonal mesh catches the light differently, creating a matte, light-absorbing depth that makes the front end appear lower and wider. It achieves the same effect Audi Sport aims for on production RS5s, and it works just as well on an A5 40 TDI as on an S5.

Add to that the removal of chrome—a detail that dates a car faster than anything else—and your coupé instantly looks years younger. A gloss black grille is the most effective aesthetic upgrade for this B9 chassis.

High-strength ABS and deep-gloss finish: the materials used for this A5 and S5 grille

The grille body is made from high-strength ABS plastic, the standard material for exposed front-end parts: it withstands gravel impacts without cracking and endures freeze/thaw cycles without losing its finish. The gloss black coating is applied to the entire structure, including the frame and mesh, to prevent uneven color variations in low-angled sunlight.

RS5-style grille for A5 and S5 B9—coupé or Sportback, 2016–2019 models.

Gloss black honeycomb mesh—the Audi Sport pattern, without a single chrome piece.

Compatible with PDC parking sensors—and blanking plates provided if your A5 is not equipped with them.

Gloss black Audi logo and mount included—nothing else to buy; the kit is complete.

Easy installation—no complex modifications to the front end.

Easy installation and PDC compatibility on your A5 B9

This grille is designed for quick and easy installation without requiring complex modifications. It is fully compatible with the original front parking sensor (PDC) systems. If your vehicle is not equipped with this option, blanking plates are provided to ensure a perfect, uniform finish. The logo mount and gloss black Audi emblem are included in the kit, allowing you to achieve a professional, ready-to-use result. Simply work without forcing the mounting clips and check the alignment before final tightening.

Do you need to remove the bumper to change the grille on an A5 B9?

On most A5 and S5 B9 models, accessing the upper fasteners requires at least partially detaching the front bumper. Many installers prefer to remove it completely: the work becomes much easier, alignment more precise, and the risk of scratching the paintwork is eliminated. Allow for a short workshop operation. If your vehicle has PDC sensors, note their position before removal so you can transfer them to the housings provided in the new grille.

Customization and automotive style

Complete your customization project by exploring our range of performance accessories.
