calandre-sport-noire-vw-tiguan-2016-2018
Black Sport Grille VW Tiguan 2016-2018 ABS

Black VW Tiguan Grille 2016-2018: A Bold New Look

Are you the owner of a second-generation Volkswagen Tiguan and want to give it a more distinctive look? This black ABS sport VW Tiguan grille, designed for Tiguan models produced between 2016 and 2018, transforms the front end of your compact SUV in just a few minutes. It gives your vehicle a bold, sporty look that stands out on everyday drives and road trips alike. At first glance, your SUV will no longer blend in with the thousands of other grey Tiguans in the parking lot.

An Instant Visual Transformation

The second-generation Tiguan marked a turning point in the Volkswagen range with its sharper lines and more expressive design. This black grille for the Tiguan 2 enhances this evolution by replacing the original chrome with a deep black finish that instantly modernizes the front end. The result is a more dynamic, contemporary look that perfectly complements the LED headlights and sporty side skirts.

The effect is particularly striking on a light-coloured body, where the dark band structures the entire front end and visually connects the two headlights. On a Tiguan already fitted with blacked-out elements, this VW Tiguan R Line style grille completes a cohesive look without the flashy appearance of a coloured part.

Premium Material and Finish

The part is moulded from high-strength injection-moulded ABS, a rigid material that does not vibrate at cruising speed or warp under the heat of the radiator. The matte black finish is treated to resist UV rays and scratches: it withstands insects, gravel chips, and high-pressure car washes without fading or developing a greyish haze.

UV-resistant matte black finish — scratch-resistant treatment and long-lasting colour

High-strength injection-moulded ABS — structural rigidity, no movement or vibration

Complete set of screws included — compatible with the Tiguan 2 OEM fixings

Direct replacement with no modifications — no cutting or drilling required

Compatible with 2016, 2017 and 2018 models — specifically designed for the second generation

Easy Installation for Everyone

You can install this grille in under an hour without any specialised tools. Remove the original grille using the upper clips, which are accessible with the bonnet open, then position the new part and secure the fixings. Check the alignment with the headlights before final tightening for a flawless finish. No cutting or drilling required. This Tiguan grille installation should be carried out when the vehicle is cold, with the headlights protected by bodywork adhesive and the central logo and any sensors carefully transferred.

Do You Need to Remove the Tiguan Bumper to Change the Grille?

It is not necessary on this chassis: the upper clips are accessible with the bonnet open, allowing for quick installation without removing the bumper. However, removing the bumper remains the most convenient method if you want to work without any risk of scratches. In either case, a properly clipped-in grille will remain securely in place and maintain consistent gaps with the headlights.

Why Order Your Tiguan Grille from Becquet Voiture?

Becquet Voiture is a French specialist in tuning and styling parts: our car grille section is organised by make, chassis and model year, including for compact SUVs, where bumper differences between generations can be tricky.
