If your QX50 already has dark wheels or blacked-out chrome, this full-length car side step is the piece that ties the whole look together: the lower line becomes dark and continuous, from one wheel arch to the other.

A design that transforms your Infiniti QX50

The side bars follow the lower bodywork for a clean integration. Their black finish and generous width provide secure footing and a muscular style to your QX50. Black has a particular visual effect on an SUV: it deepens the shadow under the bodywork instead of highlighting it, which visually lowers the vehicle and toughens its silhouette.

On a light bodywork, the contrast clearly defines the lower bodywork; on a dark shade, the black aluminum side step disappears into the mass and only reveals the volume, wider and more planted. In both cases, the QX50 trades its elegant crossover look for something much more assertive.

Material, quality and premium finish

Made of corrosion-resistant aluminum, these side steps combine lightness and robustness. The non-slip surface guarantees a secure grip in all weather conditions. Aluminum is the right choice of material here: unlike a painted steel tube, it does not develop creeping rust under the paint at the first chip of gravel, which counts twice on a black finish where the slightest orange dot is visible. The fixed structure remains stable underfoot, year after year.

Black aluminum side steps — lightweight, robust and rust-free

Consistent black finish — matching dark wheels and blacked-out chrome

Generous width — the foot rests flat, even in dress shoes

Non-slip surface — secure grip in the rain as well as during defrosting

Lower bodywork protection — a screen against side spray

Sold as a pair — dedicated Infiniti QX50 J55 mountings

Installation on your Infiniti QX50 J55

Sold as a pair with dedicated mountings for the Infiniti QX50 J55 2019-2026. The installation follows the existing mounting points; if in doubt, call a professional. Compatibility should be checked according to the version before installation. For a clean installation of the side steps, present the legs to the bare bodywork, check the alignment with the lower door on both sides before tightening to torque, and recheck the tightness after the first few hundred kilometers.

Does a black side step get dirty faster than a light aluminum model?

It does not get dirty faster, it shows it differently. On a black finish, dry dust and limescale water marks stand out in light and are visible from afar, while brushed aluminum visually absorbs them. On the other hand, mud, salt and dark spray go much more unnoticed on black. In practice, a regular rinse with a hose and a pass with a damp microfiber cloth is enough to keep this SUV side step impeccable; simply avoid aggressive alkaline cleaners, which dull black finishes over time.

Why order your Infiniti QX50 side steps from Becquet Voiture?

Becquet Voiture is a French specialist in exterior trim: spoilers, grilles, lower bodywork and side steps.
