They extend the controls upwards, exactly where your fingers are when you hold the steering wheel, and add a sporty touch to the new hexagonal Renault steering wheel. You keep your hands on the rim, find the paddle without looking, and the driving position gains character at first glance.

A long, sleek design that follows the steering wheel of your Renault Austral or Rafale

The design of this steering wheel paddle extension was modelled on the steering wheel of the latest generation Renaults: a thin blade that curves up along the rim, with two cutouts to lighten the part. On a Rafale or Espace, the result immediately recalls the controls of sports cars: the paddle clearly extends beyond the steering wheel, is visible from the passenger seat, and gives the driving position a more assertive look.

Five shades are available to match your interior: black for a discreet integration, silver and grey to match the metal inserts on the dashboard, red or blue for a bold contrast in a dark interior. Each photo in the gallery shows the shade fitted on the steering wheel, allowing you to judge the look before choosing.

A close-up look at the aluminium of these Renault steering wheel paddles

The two parts are made from an aluminium alloy with a finish resistant to scratches and everyday wear, much more pleasant to the touch than a simple plastic cover. Each paddle measures 16.1 cm long by 3.7 cm wide: large enough to be gripped with your fingertips, without interfering with the steering wheel stalks or buttons.

More natural grip: the control extends towards your fingers, so there is no need to let go of the rim.

Aluminium, not plastic: a rigid part that feels cool to the touch and does not deform with the heat of the cabin.

2-piece kit: one left paddle and one right paddle, ready to fit.

No-drill installation: attached with adhesive to the original paddle, nothing to remove.

Five colours: black, red, silver, grey or blue, depending on the style of your interior.

Fitting the paddle extensions on your Renault Scénic, Espace or Mégane E-Tech

The tool-free installation takes about ten minutes. Carefully clean the original paddles with a cloth and a degreasing product, let them dry, then position the extension without adhesive to mark its position. Remove the protective film from the adhesive, apply the part by pressing firmly for about thirty seconds, and leave it to settle for a few hours before using the paddles. Avoid fitting them in very cold weather: adhesive bonds better to a tempered surface.

Important: these extensions attach to paddles already present behind the steering wheel. Check for original paddles on your steering wheel: depending on the engine, they are used to change gears or adjust the energy recovery level. Also compare the shape of your paddles with the photos before ordering, as it varies from one version to another.

Which Renault model should I choose from the menu?

The selector offers five versions: Scénic 2023-2026, Espace 2023-2026, Mégane E-Tech 2023-2026, Austral 2023-2026 and Rafale 2023-2026.
