phares-led-avant-porsche-cayman-981-2013-2015
Front LED Headlights Porsche Cayman 981 2013-2015

Porsche Cayman 981 matrix-style LED headlight — a look worthy of the coupe

The Porsche Cayman 981 headlight for the front (2013-2015) offers an LED lighting upgrade with a matrix-style look that enhances the sporty character of your coupe. The 981 is one of the most balanced chassis ever produced in Zuffenhausen; its original headlights, however, belong to another era. This set of LED headlights brings the front end up to par with the rest of the car, without any bodywork modifications.

A design tailored for your Porsche Cayman 981

The headlight unit uses the 981's original dimensions for a fit without modifications, with a presentation that instantly enhances the vehicle's front end. The light signature stands out with its sharpness: a dense, white line that replaces the slightly yellow tint of halogen beams and gives the coupe a new look.

Seen from the front, a Porsche Cayman headlight with an LED signature completely changes the perception of the vehicle: the unit appears narrower and more technical, and the hood seems lower. It's the same effect sought with the next-generation Porsche Cayman 718 headlights, applied to your 981.

Technology, quality & finish

Sold as a 2-piece kit, this LED car headlight offers uniform brightness and better nighttime range compared to the original halogen equipment, with a UV-treated housing resistant to the elements. The diodes operate at low temperatures, turn on instantly, and maintain their color temperature over time, without shifting toward blue. The peripheral seals lock in the unit's watertightness against internal condensation.

2-piece LED front headlight kit — complete pair, driver and passenger sides

Matrix-style light signature — dense and sharp line, technical look

Original 981 dimensions — fits in the original location, without cutting or adaptation

Left- or right-hand drive versions — and finish compatible with original xenon or halogen

UV-treated polycarbonate housing — resistant to the elements and yellowing

Installation, compatibility & durability

Available in left- or right-hand drive and with a finish compatible with original xenon or halogen; fits in the original location, to be checked according to the equipment on your Cayman 981. Professional beam adjustment is recommended after installation. Installing an LED headlight on a 981 requires partial removal of the front bumper: it's a standard workshop operation, but one that deserves a professional for a car of this value.

How to adjust the headlights of a Porsche Cayman after replacement?

Place the car on level ground facing a light-colored wall, about five meters away, with the fuel tank half full and the tires at the correct pressure. Mark the height of the center of the headlights on the wall: the beam cut-off must fall slightly below, with a sharp rise on the right side. The vertical and horizontal adjustment screws are located at the rear of the units. Headlight adjustment determines the overall quality of the actual lighting: a poorly aimed unit dazzles without illuminating. On a low coupe like the 981, a check with a headlight aimer in a workshop remains the most reliable method.

Why order your Porsche Cayman 981 headlights from Becquet Voiture?

Becquet Voiture specializes in automotive lighting and exceptional parts for sports cars. For a Porsche, we only select units with serious watertightness and a uniform signature from one side to the other — a mismatching defect is immediately visible on an LED front headlight from the front.
