It is the modification that rejuvenates a pre-facelift E90 the most: the original clear lenses, often clouded by age, are replaced by two dark units with a sharp look. Your sedan or touring car instantly regains the presence it had when it left the dealership, with the added bonus of the daytime running light signature the car never had from the factory.

A design that transforms your BMW Series 3 E90 E91

The 3D Crystal black background and DRL rings redesign the look of the E90/E91 sedan or touring car for a sleeker appearance. The dark background eliminates the "light eye" effect of the original lenses and gives the hood a lower, wider stance.

At night, the light rings trace the round signature sought after on all BMWs of this generation. This is exactly the effect those who install a BMW E90 angel eyes headlight are looking for: an immediately recognizable identity in the flow of traffic, without touching the bodywork or the bumper.

Technology, quality & finish

LED diodes for the daytime running lights, treated lens and sealed housing provide better visibility than an original halogen headlight. The switch to a car LED headlight is noticeable from the first night drive: whiter light, instant ignition, better-defined road contours. The ABS housing and polycarbonate lens are designed to withstand debris and temperature fluctuations, where an original 2006 lens has often lost its transparency.

Integrated LED daytime running lights (DRL) — permanent daytime signature, increased visibility from startup.

Black 3D Crystal finish — deep dark background that hardens the entire look of the Series 3.

Left and right front pair — the complete set, no additional parts to look for.

Sealed housing and treated lens — no condensation or premature whitish haze.

Designed for left-hand drive — beam oriented for traffic in France and continental Europe.

Installation, compatibility & durability

Designed for left-hand drive for the 2005-2008 pre-facelift E90/E91, direct replacement of the left and right pair; professional installation recommended. The installation of a headlight on an E90 involves removing the front bumper, which explains why the operation is entrusted to a workshop in most cases. Then, plan for a beam height adjustment for effective lighting without disturbing other road users.

Pre-facelift or facelift: how to know if my E90 is compatible?

This is the essential check before ordering. The BMW Series 3 E90 pre-facelift covers the model years 2005 to 2008 and is distinguished from the facelift (LCI, from late 2008) by the design of its taillights and by the details of its front end: the LCI front lenses adopt a different cut. A headlight designed for the pre-facelift does not fit a facelifted model, and vice versa. Check the date of first registration on your registration certificate, then compare the design of your current lenses before confirming your order of BMW E90 E91 LED headlights.

Why order your BMW E90 LED headlight from Becquet Voiture?

Because a front lens involves safety as much as style.
