Fitting steps

  1. Identify the gearbox

    Check the gearbox type of your Audi A5, S5 and RS5 B9 (2016-2024) (manual or automatic) and the lever shape. Check the package contents: 1 x carbon-pattern ABS selector cover, Temporary protective film, Printed fitting instructions.

  2. Remove the original knob

    Unclip the boot from the console, then pull the knob upwards sharply (or unscrew it).

  3. Fit the lever

    Fit the lever in place of the original part, on the same mounts. No modification is needed.

  4. Check the gear shifting

    Go through all the gears with the engine off: the knob must stay firm.

  • On an automatic gearbox, keep your foot on the brake and the ignition off during removal.
  • Wash the carbon with soapy water and protect its clear coat from UV with a suitable wax.
