Nissan sunshades: two needs, two products
The term covers two different objects. The windscreen sunshade unfolds over the dashboard when the car is parked, and the interior sunshade is the retractable visor attached to the roof lining, often broken or sagging after a few years. This collection covers both for the Qashqai, X-Trail, Juke, NV200, Patrol and Tiida.
For sun protection, custom-fit foldable windscreen sunshades and magnetic versions are available for the X-Trail T30, T31 and T32, Qashqai J10 and J11, Juke, NV200, Patrol Y62 (shared with the Infiniti QX56 and QX80) and Primastar. Some models add rear side window curtains, practical with a child on board.
For visors, the interior sunshades with mirrors are for the 2008-2015 Qashqai, 2014-2021 X-Trail Rogue, Tiida C11 and 2004-2012, 2013-2019 Sentra with illuminated mirror and the Versa. Part number 96401-EL31A is also compatible with the 2009-2016 Renault Koleos.
Finally, sunshade clips solve the most common problem: the visor no longer staying in the raised position. Two part numbers cover the Qashqai and Micra on the one hand, the X-Trail, Murano, Altima and Teana on the other. The part costs a few euros and clips in ten seconds.
The foldable windscreen sunshades are made of reflective aluminized material with foam in between: they significantly lower the interior temperature when parked and protect the dashboard from UV rays, the leading cause of plastic cracking.

Frequently asked questions
How do I replace a sunshade visor on a Qashqai? Unclip the screw cover on the roof lining, remove the two Torx screws, disconnect the illuminated mirror connector if present, then reattach the new visor. Allow ten minutes.
Does a magnetic sunshade really stay in place? Yes: the magnets attach to the metal windscreen frame, and the whole assembly stays in place with the doors open. Suction cup or accordion-fold versions are better suited if the frame is made of plastic.
My sunshade clip is broken; do I need to replace the entire visor? No. In most cases, only the plastic side hook breaks. The clips offered for the Qashqai, Micra, X-Trail, Murano, Altima and Teana are enough to restore the original support.
