My Fabia didn't come with the optional armrest; can I install one? Yes, in the vast majority of cases. The mounting points are present on the center tunnel even if the armrest was not included when the car was ordered: simply remove the plastic cover.
Does the armrest interfere with the handbrake? No, the Skoda models are designed to allow the lever to move through its full range. The armrest can also be raised toward the rear if you need to clear the area completely.
Will the same armrest fit a Volkswagen Up? Yes, for the Citigo: the Citigo, Up and Mii share the same center console, and the same part number is listed for all three. For the Fabia and Octavia, the part is specific to Skoda.
