The module is placed behind the original screen, on the SMEG and SMEG+ system connector, and displays your phone's interface instead of the multimedia menu. Two families of products coexist in this collection, and they are not intended for the same cars.
- The wireless USB adapter: for a car that ALREADY has wired CarPlay. It plugs into the USB port and makes the connection wireless. Thirty-second installation, no disassembly.
- The integration module (box): for a car WITHOUT CarPlay. It connects to the wiring harness behind the SMEG and SMEG+ screen and injects the image. It requires removing the central fascia, allow one to two hours.
- The point of vigilance: the exact version of the multimedia system. Two identical cars can have two different screen generations, and the wiring harness is not the same.
