Seat Wing Mirror Cover

Seat mirror cap: Leon, Ibiza and Cupra exterior mirror cover

On a Seat, the mirror cap is one of the few details that can be changed in a few minutes to completely transform the car's profile. The Spanish brand built its identity on sharp lines and strong contrasts: a dark or carbon-finish mirror cover extends exactly this logic, and without paint, replaces an original part that has become dull, scratched, or faded over the years.

Two mounting methods coexist in this collection. The clip-on mirror cover slides over the original cap and locks into place with its peripheral clips, sometimes reinforced by double-sided adhesive applied to a clean and degreased surface: nothing is removed, nothing is drilled, and the installation remains reversible — a real argument for a leased vehicle. The replacement cover takes the place of the factory part, which is carefully unclipped with a plastic tool, starting from the bottom: it is the right solution when the existing cap is cracked or no longer holds.

In terms of finishes, the gloss black mirror cap is the most universal choice: on a white Ibiza or a grey Leon, it creates the sharp contrast found on the original FR trims. The carbon cap, in varnished woven fiber or carbon-textured ABS, aims for the Cupra look and works particularly well when paired with a matching diffuser and air intakes. Satin chrome remains a more understated option to brighten up a side without going full black, and the primer-finished cap allows you to start fresh with the exact manufacturer color after a collision.

Compatibility depends on the generation, particularly between the Leon MK3 (5F) and Leon MK4, which have neither the same base nor the same curvature. Before ordering, check the side concerned (caps are sold individually or in pairs), the presence of an integrated turn signal in the housing, and on recent Leon and Formentor models, the pre-cut location for the blind-spot sensor or camera.

The selected materials — UV-treated ABS and varnished carbon — are chosen not to whiten or cloud over the seasons. Allow about ten minutes per side, a plastic spatula, and a degreased surface: the electrical adjustment, folding, and defrosting of the mirror remain strictly unchanged.
