Installation and maintenance
Allow forty-five minutes in dry weather, above 15°C. Degrease the lower bumper with isopropyl alcohol, dry-fit the diffuser and mark its centering with masking tape: a one-centimeter offset is visible from ten meters away. Then secure the supplied screws in the wheel arches and press the adhesive section by section. Allow it to cure for 24 hours without washing or using a pressure washer. Maintenance: standard washing, keep the jet away from the bonded edges, and check the tightness once a year.

Do I need to remove the bumper to install this diffuser?
No. It is mounted with the car on the ground, from underneath, using the lower fixings accessible from the wheel arches.
Does the diffuser rub on speed bumps?
It follows the contour of the bumper and only drops by a few millimeters. On a lowered A7, caution is still advised.
Can it be painted in body color?
Yes. ABS accepts a plastic primer followed by a clear-coated base; entrust the work to a body shop for a clean finish.
Is it compatible with a towbar?
In most cases yes, as the ball joint sits lower. Check the clearance before screwing it in.
