The great classic remains the switch to Black Edition: replacing the original chrome rings with gloss black rings transforms the front end and tailgate without touching the bodywork. Illuminated grille emblems adopt the principle of the illuminated rings of the high-end versions: the module replaces the original emblem and connects to a 12 V power supply. White LED version to remain discreet, or colored variants for more pronounced builds.

How to remove the original Audi rings without damaging the paint? On the tailgate, heat the badge slightly with a heat gun or hair dryer, then pass a fishing line behind to cut the adhesive. Remove the residues with adhesive remover, never with a blade.
Do black rings pass the technical inspection? Yes: a brand emblem is an aesthetic part, it is not subject to any inspection point as long as it does not mask the lighting or the license plate.
Does an illuminated grille emblem consume a lot? No, the LED modules generally draw less than 5 W. They connect to the parking lights and turn off with them, without overloading the circuit.
