Quilted Magnetic Car Windshield Cover 264 x 146 cm

Quilted magnetic windshield cover: windshield, front windows and door handles protected from frost

This black quilted magnetic windshield cover protects the front of your car on winter nights. It covers the windshield, extends down over both front side windows and even folds over the door handles, which freeze and refuse to open on cold mornings. Magnets sewn into the edge hold it against the bodywork: it's an anti-frost windshield cover that can be put on in one go.

Why choose this magnetic windshield cover

• Magnetic edge: the cover sticks to the bodywork while you secure the rest.
• Door handle protectors: no more handles frozen shut, preventing you from opening the door.
• Windshield and front windows covered in one piece, including the side mirror covers.
• Reflective orange or green piping around the entire edge: the car is easier to spot at night.
• Thick quilting: the fabric does not stick to the glass and is easy to remove when covered in snow.

A black winter windshield cover with orange or green piping

The diamond quilting gives the cover a neat shape, unlike a thin cover that flutters. The orange piping or green piping highlights the shape of the windshield and mirrors: this detail reflects headlight beams when you are parked on the street. Both versions are the same price, simply choose the color you prefer.

All-season windshield protection, from frost to summer sun

In winter, it provides winter windshield protection: snow and frost stay on the cover, keeping the glass dry. In spring and autumn, it stops leaves, pollen and sap. In summer, it acts as an outdoor sunshade and keeps the dashboard and steering wheel cooler, making it more comfortable to get in after a day in the sun.

Magnetic windshield cover dimensions: 264 x 146 cm

The cover measures 264 cm at its widest point, including the side flaps, approximately 118 cm high and 146 cm wide at the bottom of the windshield. This size is suitable for most sedans, compact cars and mid-sized SUVs. Measure your windshield before ordering, especially for a large SUV or van.

Fitting the magnetic windshield cover without scratching the paint

Place the top of the cover flush with the roof, let the magnets stick to the bottom of the windshield, then fit the covers over the side mirrors. Fold the flaps over the side windows and door handles, then close the doors on them. Always place the cover on clean bodywork: a magnet rubbing against sand can mark the varnish. Remove it by lifting it, without letting it slide.

Frequently asked questions about the magnetic windshield cover

Can the magnets damage the bodywork?
Not on clean paint, as they are encased in fabric. The risk comes from dust trapped underneath: clean the area before fitting.

Does the cover stay on an aluminum hood?
Magnets do not stick to aluminum or composite materials. In this case, the cover is held in place by the side mirror covers and the doors closed on the flaps.

Can it be placed on a wet windshield?
It is better to have dry glass, otherwise water can freeze under the cover and stick it in place.

Is it hail-proof?
No, it protects against frost, snow and sun, not hail.
