Long arm or short arm on my Ducato? Measure the distance between the bodywork and the mirror housing. High vans and wide motorhomes receive the long arm, which offsets the mirror to see beyond the cell; narrower versions receive the short arm.
Can the cap be fitted without removing the mirror? Yes in most cases: the cap clips off from the outside. On some versions, you must first tilt the mirror to access the bottom tabs, using a plastic tool so as not to break anything.
