Audi fog lights: grilles, lenses and honeycomb covers
The fog light unit is the first detail you notice on the front of an Audi. This collection includes fog light grilles in a honeycomb design, replacement covers, trim pieces and complete fog light lenses, front and rear.
The most popular item remains the gloss black honeycomb grille in S line style, sold in pairs. It replaces the original plastic cover — which is often dull or cracked — and instantly gives the car the look of the S4, S5 and RS models. The models for the A4 B8, A3 8P, A5 and Q5 are the most common in the catalogue.
Replacement fog light lenses cover the front lights and the rear fog lights with their bumper reflector. The references use the original manufacturer part number (type 4M0945095 on the Q7) to prevent ordering errors.
You can also find protective grilles that fit in front of the lens to protect it from gravel, as well as chrome or matte black trim that frames the unit on the A6 C8 S line. All are supplied with their clips or adhesive for installation.
On most generations, the unit is removed from the front: the original trim piece is unclipped, two Torx screws are removed, and the new grille uses the same mounting points. Allow about fifteen minutes per side, without removing the bumper on most models.

The fog light unit changes shape with each facelift: an A4 B8 grille (2008-2012) will not fit a B8.5 (2013-2015), and a phase 2 A3 8P differs from phase 1. Check the year of first registration on your registration certificate and compare it with the model years indicated on the product page.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need to remove the bumper to change a fog light grille? On most recent Audis, no: the grille is unclipped from the front after removing one or two Torx screws. Some A6 C7 models require removing the wheel arch to access the rear clips.
Does a honeycomb grille block cooling? No. The mesh maintains the same airflow area as the original cover; it filters out gravel without reducing airflow to the radiators.
My Audi doesn't have fog lights: can I still fit these grilles? Yes. Models without fog lights have a solid factory cover that can be replaced by a honeycomb grille of the same size.
