BMW fog lights: lights, grilles and trim
On a BMW, the fog light area presents two problems: lenses that become cloudy over the years and bumper openings that remain exposed on entry-level trims. This collection addresses both, with replacement fog lights and fog light protection grilles with an M Sport design.
For lighting, we offer LED and halogen fog lights for the 1999 to 2004 5 Series E39 and X3 E83, as well as yellow lens fog light kits for the E30, which restore the typical look of the 80s and 90s while improving contrast in foggy conditions.
For trim, the fog light grilles in black ABS replace the original grey covers: 1 Series F20 F21 M Sport, 2 Series F22 F23, 3 Series F30 F31, 4 Series F32 F33 F36 in M Sport or Sport Line versions, 7 Series F01 F02 and the X5 E70 SUV. Sold in pairs, they close up the front end in a single installation.
Some references go even further: the fog light grille trim for the 4 Series F32 F33 F36 addresses both the air intake surround and the lens housing in one piece, for a more cohesive look than a simple overlay grille.
Installation does not require a workshop: the grilles clip into the original bumper housings, sometimes after removing the front wheel arch. The lights plug into the factory connector. As always, check your chassis code and trim, as an F20 M Pack does not have the same bumper as an F20 Lounge.
Compatible with the entire BMW range
BMW fog lights depend on both the chassis and the factory-installed bumper. Two cars from the same year may receive different grilles depending on whether they come in M Sport, Sport Line, or base trim: the product page specifies the intended version every time.

Frequently asked questions
Can a fog light grille be installed without removing the bumper? On most F chassis, yes: the grille clips into the original cover housing from the outside. On some models, you need to unclip the front wheel arch to access the tabs from the rear, which remains a twenty-minute operation.
Can yellow lens fog lights be installed? Yes, French regulations allow selective yellow at the front. It is a very popular aesthetic choice on older BMWs like the E30, and it genuinely improves visual comfort in fog.
My fog lights are opaque, should I replace them? If the opacity comes from polycarbonate pitted by gravel, polishing will not last long and replacement is necessary. If the glass is simply dirty on the inside, the seal is leaking water: once again, a new unit remains the long-lasting solution.
