Next, determine the external width to be covered: the 1.10 m version is suitable for up to approximately 105 cm, the 1.15 m for up to 110 cm, the 1.20 m for up to 115 cm, the 1.25 m for up to 120 cm, the 1.30 m for up to 125 cm, and the 1.35 m for up to 130 cm. For installing the roof bars, you will need a Phillips-head screwdriver and a pair of scissors: everything else is provided.

Yes, and that is precisely the principle of raised rails: the feet clamp the side rail from underneath, and the clamping mechanism presses the whole assembly tight without ever touching the metal roof. It is a clamp-on fixation, not a drilled one—it is reversible and leaves no trace. The condition is to respect the stated load and check the tightness after the first few hundred kilometers, and then regularly.
