Jeep Gladiator Willys Mud Flaps: the Pickup Protected on Trails and Roads
This kit of 4 mud flaps equips the Jeep Gladiator Willys from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 model years. Two front mud flaps and two rear mud flaps form a flexible curtain behind each wheel and stop mud, gravel and salt thrown by wide off-road tires. Screws and star washers included, matte black finish.
Why equip a Gladiator with mud flaps
- 4-piece kit: front and rear delivered together, the vehicle is treated all at once.
- Generous surface: the height of the mud flap is adapted to off-road tires, wider and more throwing than road tires.
- Flexible thermoplastic: it does not break on contact with a rut or a rock and regains its shape.
- Specific Willys cut: the contour follows the wheel arch and the running boards of this trim.
- Complete hardware: screws, star washers and clips delivered in the package.
- Textured matte black: the shade matches the original black fender flares.
Jeep Gladiator mud flaps: what they really prevent
On a pickup with knobby tires, the projection does not stop at the rocker panel: it reaches the running boards, door bottoms, tank and especially the side of the bed. A anti-projection mud flap cuts this trajectory at the exit of the wheel arch. The uses speak for themselves: forest roads, rocky trails, salted roads in winter, construction sites, towing a boat on a wet slipway. A front and rear mud flap also limits the impacts on the following vehicle, a point that off-road tires make far from theoretical. On a Gladiator, it is finally the cheapest protection of the rocker panel, the area where the paint chips first.

Installation and maintenance
Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the four pieces. Turn the steering wheel fully on the treated side, present the mud flap against the lip of the wheel arch and locate the existing holes; on some configurations, one or two additional holes are necessary. Use the provided star washers to distribute the stress on the plastic, and tighten by hand: tightening with a screwdriver deforms the mud flap. Check the tightness after the first off-road outing. No approval is provided with this kit and no installation promise is included here: check compatibility with your vehicle, its trim and its fender flares before installation. Maintenance: water jet and soft brush, insisting between the mud flap and the sheet metal.
Frequently asked questions
Does the kit fit a Gladiator Rubicon or Sport?
The contour is designed for the Willys trim. Compare the shape of your fender flares with the photos before ordering.
Do you need to drill the bodywork?
The kit primarily uses the existing holes; depending on the configuration, additional drilling may be required.
Do the mud flaps get in the way when off-roading?
They are flexible and spring back on contact. For extreme use, many remove the front mud flaps and keep the rear ones.
Are they compatible with oversized tires?
Up to a slightly oversized fitment, yes. Beyond that, check the clearance in compression and steering.
Do they resist high-pressure washing?
Yes at a reasonable distance. Avoid a concentrated jet on the mounting points.
