Fitting steps

  1. Dry-fit the spoiler

    Place the spoiler on the tailgate or trunk lid of your BMW 5 Series (F10 or F18) without fixing it. Mark its exact position with masking tape.

  2. Clean and degrease

    Wash the fitting area, then degrease it with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.

  3. Stick the spoiler on

    Dry-fit the spoiler, peel the film off the double-sided tape, then press firmly for 30 seconds over the whole surface.

  4. Check the hold

    Check that the spoiler is properly aligned and does not move. Open and close the trunk to make sure it does not touch anything.

  • Ideally fit above 59 °F (15 °C), in dry conditions.
  • Get someone to help you hold the spoiler while positioning it.
  • Wash the carbon with soapy water and protect its clear coat from UV with a suitable wax.
