Audi A8 D4 climate control knob — the 4H1919600H dial that restores the console's premium look
This climate control knob for the Audi A8 and S8 D4 replaces the 4H1919600H center console dial, whose chrome ring eventually peels and whose click eventually disappears. In a sedan of this caliber, a worn dial is the first detail a passenger notices: replacing it individually restores the console's like-new appearance for a fraction of the cost of a complete unit.
Designed for your Audi A8 D4
Two dials are available: the climate control dial and the volume and MMI multimedia control dial. They share the same design — a finely knurled satin ring, a black center cap, and a diameter matching the original part — but their internal splines differ: choose the one that matches the shaft to be replaced, using the photos and its position in your console as a guide.
Technology, quality & finish
The ring is electroplated rather than painted silver: it won't peel under a fingernail and can withstand interior cleaners. The ABS core fits tightly onto the splined shaft, with no rotational play or loose click, and the center cap retains its matte feel without becoming sticky over time.
Installation, compatibility & durability
No console removal is necessary: pull the old dial firmly straight out, then push the new one in until it stops. Two minutes, no tools or coding required. Compatible with Audi A8 and S8 D4 models from 2014 to 2017, depending on the equipment and MMI system generation — compare the dial to be replaced with the photos before confirming your choice.
Erase the only worn detail on your Audi A8 console: choose your dial and order.
