Porsche Cayenne window switch — restore the shine of the chrome control
This window switch is a direct replacement for the original window switch, part number 7PP959858RDML, in your Porsche Cayenne from 2010 onwards. On these door panels, the chrome rocker switch is the first element to show its mileage: pitted chrome, peeling coating, or a control that only responds every other press. One replacement, and the driver's area regains its premium feel.
A design tailored for your Porsche Cayenne
The rocker switch takes on the exact shape of the Cayenne 958 power window control: the same pressing surface, the same chrome trim, the same icon. Once clipped into place, it sits perfectly flush with the door panel, with no play or extra thickness. The difference compared to a new original control is simply invisible.
Technology, quality & finish
The mechanism is based on a double-stroke switch, which allows for one-touch raising and lowering, with a metal return spring calibrated for a firm, crisp feel. The contact tracks are gold-plated to resist oxidation, the leading cause of intermittent controls. The chrome is applied by galvanization, not simply painted: it won't flake off under a fingernail.
Installation, compatibility & durability
Replacement can be done without removing the door panel: carefully unclip the old switch with a plastic tool, disconnect the connector, plug in the new one, and the function is immediately operational — no coding is required. Compatible with Cayenne models from 2010 onwards, depending on the version and equipment: check the part number engraved on the back of your original control before ordering.
