Fitting steps
- Compare with the original grille
Compare the shape and mounting points with the grille of your Mini. Check the package contents: 3 JCW pieces. Part designed for: Mini John Cooper Works, Clubman R55 and Roadster R59. Check that your vehicle is one of them.
- Remove the original grille
Open the hood, remove the top screws and clips, then unclip the grille. On some models, the bumper must be loosened.
- Clip on the grille
Line up the clips with their slots, then press gradually until they click, starting from one edge.
- Check the alignment
Check the gaps with the hood, headlights and bumper. Make sure the emblem and sensors are properly refitted.
- Protect the bumper with masking tape before prying.
- Transfer the emblem and the sensor brackets from the old grille.
