Carbon Kidney Grille BMW M2 G87 CS 2023+

BMW M2 G87 carbon grille — the racing look for the CS front end

The BMW M2 G87 carbon grille (2023+) transforms the front end of your M2 coupe with an unmistakable CS style and an exclusive presence. These genuine dry carbon radiator grilles replace the original front bumper grilles for a premium, understated, and aggressive look. On a chassis as distinctive as the G87, it is the detail that elevates the car from a sports coupe to a fully realized build — without altering the factory lines.

A design tailored for your BMW M2 G87

Directly inspired by the CS spirit, this BMW M2 G87 grille accentuates the sporty character of the front bumper. The deep carbon weave catches the light and highlights the air intakes, creating a racing signature that sets your M2 apart from standard models. While the original matte black plastic grilles remain neutral, carbon creates a play of reflections that changes depending on the angle and lighting.

It is a transformation through detail, not excess. The geometry of the bumper remains as intended by BMW; only the material changes. On a Toronto Red or Zandvoort Blue M2, the BMW M2 G87 carbon bumper grille highlights the large S58 air intakes; on a dark shade, it adds a depth that solid black can never achieve. This is exactly the visual language of CS models and factory-tuned builds.

Material, quality & finish

Made from genuine dry carbon with a tight weave, this grille offers lightness and rigidity. The UV-protective clear coat ensures a glossy, durable finish that withstands road debris and the elements. Dry carbon stands out from wet carbon with a significantly lower resin content: the part is lighter, more rigid, and its weave remains uniform across the entire surface, without shadows or pattern distortion in the spokes. This is what distinguishes an authentic BMW M2 G87 carbon part from a carbon-look ABS trim.

• Genuine dry carbon — low resin content, superior lightness and rigidity compared to standard composites.
• Unmistakable CS style — the visual signature of the most radical G87 chassis builds.
• Tight, uniform weave — a clean pattern across the entire surface, including the spokes.
• Glossy UV-protective clear coat — protection against yellowing, road debris and the elements.
• Replaces original grilles — the part takes the place of the front bumper grilles without altering the lines.
• Reversible installation — keep the factory grilles; they can be reinstalled at any time.

Installation, compatibility & durability

These replacement grilles fit in place of the original front bumper grilles. Compatible with BMW M2 G87 models from 2023 onwards; installation should be checked according to your front bumper finish. For a perfect fit, professional installation is recommended. On a car of this caliber, installation deserves to be carried out without haste: remove the bumper, unclip the factory grilles, perform a dry fit, then complete the final installation. This is how the installation of a BMW carbon grille delivers a result indistinguishable from a factory finish.

Dry carbon or carbon look: is the difference really noticeable?

Yes, and immediately. A "carbon-look" trim is plastic covered with a film or print that reproduces the pattern: the weave is perfectly uniform—too uniform—and it appears flat in the curves because the film follows the shape without ever becoming the shape. Genuine carbon, on the other hand, is made of real oriented fibers: the pattern follows the contours, recedes into the spokes, and reflects light differently depending on the angle. On the front end of an M2, where the grilles are large and directly in the line of sight, this difference is noticeable from two meters away. Durability is another factor: a film eventually begins to peel away at the edges exposed to road debris, while a UV-protected BMW M2 G87 carbon part retains its shine. This is also why dry carbon remains the benchmark for the most refined BMW M2 G87 carbon kits.
