The tight hexagonal mesh replaces the original horizontal bars and deepens the front end. You choose the element you are missing: the central grille, the upper trim or the lower trim — or all three for a complete bumper overhaul. The deep matte black matches both a light bodywork and a dark Mini R56 already equipped with a black pack.
Technology, quality & finish
Each element is injection-molded in reinforced ABS, a material that withstands highway gravel and does not deform under engine heat. The mesh is UV-treated to prevent whitening after a few summers, and the edges are deburred to fit neatly against the bumper without leaving visible gaps.
Installation, compatibility & durability
Installation is done by clips on the original mounting points, with double-sided adhesive reinforcement depending on the version — allow one hour without removing the bumper. Fitting steps
- Compare with the original grille
Compare the shape and mounting points with the grille of your Mini. Part designed for: Mini Clubman R55, Cooper R56, Cabrio R57, Coupé R58, Roadster R59 and One (5 générations). Check that your vehicle is one of them.
- Remove the original grille
Open the hood, remove the top screws and clips, then unclip the grille. On some models, the bumper must be loosened.
- Clean and degrease
Wash the fitting area, then degrease it with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.
- Clip on and stick
First engage the clips, then press the adhesive areas firmly for 30 seconds.
- Check the alignment
Check the gaps with the hood, headlights and bumper. Make sure the emblem and sensors are properly refitted.
- Protect the bumper with masking tape before prying.
- Transfer the emblem and the sensor brackets from the old grille.
- Fit above 59 °F (15 °C) and avoid washing for 24 h: the adhesive reaches full strength after that time.
