Rearview Mirror Cover Volvo S60 S80 V70 2004-2006

Volvo S60 S80 V70 mirror cap — erase scratches in one go

This mirror cap for the Volvo S60, S80 and V70 replaces a cracked, scratched or faded outer cover without affecting the mirror or adjustment motor. A rub against a parking post, a low branch, a gate: it takes very little to damage the cap while the mirror continues to work perfectly. Rather than replacing the entire assembly, simply change the cap.

A design tailored for your Volvo S60, S80 and V70

The mirror cover is molded to match the original cap, part number 39979044: the same shape, the same rear step, the same tab positions. The surface is supplied primed, ready to receive the exact color of your bodywork, or it can be left as is for a deliberate contrast. Left and right versions are sold separately.

Technology, quality & finish

The ABS plastic used resists UV rays, frost and car wash brushes without whitening or cracking at the edges — a classic weak point of used caps. The clips are reinforced at the base to withstand repeated removal and highway-speed airflow without vibrating.

Installation, compatibility & durability

No removal of the mirror assembly is required: the old cap is unclipped by hand or with a plastic spatula, the new one is positioned and then snapped into place. A few minutes per side, with no special tools. Depending on the version and year, it is compatible with Volvo S60, S80 and V70 models from 2004 to 2006; compare part number 39979044 and check the side before ordering.
