DDPAI Z90 Master Dashcam: Two 4K Sensors, No Compromise in the Rear
Almost all so-called "front and rear" dashcams hide the same compromise: 4K in the front and downgraded 1080P in the rear. The DDPAI Z90 Master dashcam rejects this compromise and features two 4K sensors, each with its own HDR processing. It is now the most comprehensive option from the specialist: a car dashcam that documents the scene with the same level of detail in both directions.
Dual 4K and Dual HDR: The Z90 Master's Technical Signature
Each lens has its own processing pipeline. In practical terms, the front camera can handle bright sunlight while the rear deals with headlights in the shadows, without either image being sacrificed for the other. The Ultra HD 4K dashcam makes a license plate readable at distances where Full HD shows only a clear shape, and the night vision preserves contours instead of drowning them in noise.
The three-channel version adds an infrared interior lens to cover the cabin—a compelling choice for passenger transport or service vehicles.
ADAS, GPS, and 4G Connectivity: The Z90 Master Never Truly Sleeps
ADAS alerts monitor lane departures and the distance to the vehicle ahead. The GPS overlays speed and coordinates on every file in the car's black box. On 4G configurations, the device remains accessible with the engine off: you open the app from home, view the live feed, and receive a notification if an impact is detected overnight. This is 24-hour parking surveillance taken to its most advanced form.
- 4K Front and 4K Rear — two sensors of the same caliber, dual HDR processing
- 3-Channel Version — additional infrared interior lens
- ADAS Alerts — lane departure and safety distance warnings while driving
- Remote 4G Tracking — live feed and notifications even when the vehicle is locked
- High-Endurance U3 Memory Cards — up to 256 GB to handle two continuous 4K streams
Installing the Z90 Master in Your Car
The main unit attaches behind the rearview mirror on a flat adhesive mount, and the power cable connects to the fuse box via the wiring kit provided with most configurations. The 4K rear camera mounts inside the rear window or above the license plate; its cable runs through the cabin under the trim. Connecting to the permanent fuse, essential for parking mode, is best left to a workshop if you are not comfortable. The dashcam installation remains reversible and requires no drilling.
Two 4K Sensors: Can the Memory Card Keep Up?
This is the real question with this type of device. Two 4K streams write a lot and continuously: an ordinary micro SD card will wear out in a few months. The high-endurance U3 versions offered here are designed for continuous overwriting. At 256 GB, you keep several days of driving before overwriting; below 128 GB, the loop becomes short on a 3-channel dashcam.
