The E-ACE B12 model records the road ahead and what is happening behind you simultaneously in Full HD 1080P, on a 4-inch touchscreen that can be operated with a fingertip. This front and rear dashcam records continuously, day and night, and automatically saves impact footage thanks to its shock sensor.

170° Dual Lens: What the B12 Really Sees

The 170° wide-angle lens captures the entire width of the road, the shoulders, and vehicles pulling out at an angle. At the rear, the second camera, connected by a 6 m cable, monitors those tailgating you at a red light, and also serves as a backup view when maneuvering. This front and rear car dashcam therefore covers the two most common collision scenarios: failure to yield and rear-end collisions.

The 4-inch mirror screen, touchscreen and 16:9 format, displays either view—or both—without multiplying the buttons. The menus are available in French, which avoids the usual deciphering of imported car black boxes.

Night Vision, G Sensor and Loop: The B12 Electronics

The GC2053 image sensor combined with an f/2.0 aperture makes the most of urban lighting: license plates remain legible where a low-end camera shows only a blur. The H.264 codec compresses the AVI files at 30 frames per second to fit on a maximum 64 GB microSD card, class 10. Loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest footage, while the G-sensor locks the files at the time of impact so they are never overwritten.

Installing the B12 Dashcam in Your Car in a Few Minutes

The main unit is mounted at the front of the interior and powered by the provided cable; the rear camera is placed near the rear window and connects to the unit via its 6 m cable, which is run through the headliner trim. An important point from the manufacturer: never power the device with a simple computer USB data cable, as the voltage would be insufficient and cause reboots. Use the original power supply via the cigarette lighter socket. The microSD card, class 10 at minimum, is formatted directly from the menu.
