11.26-inch mirror dashcam: your rearview mirror becomes a 4K screen
This 4K mirror dashcam does not sit next to the rearview mirror: it replaces it. An 11.26-inch IPS touchscreen covers the entire width of the original mirror and displays the live image from the rear camera. No more blind spots behind the headrests, no more trunks packed to the ceiling that block your view: you see the back of the car in a continuous video feed, day or night, even in the rain. And all the while, the 4K onboard camera records everything, in a loop and without intervention.
The 11.26-inch IPS panel and dual video feed of this mirror DVR
The screen covers the entire surface of the rearview mirror: you can scroll through the settings with a fingertip, reframe the view by simply swiping vertically to adjust the image height, and switch from one lens to the other. This digital car rearview mirror remains readable in direct sunlight and dims at night to avoid glare.
The front lens records in 3840 x 2160 pixels on a Sony IMX415 sensor, with a seven-lens optical block and an F/1.8 aperture. The second module, facing rearward, records in 1920 x 1080. The H.265 codec reduces file size compared to H.264, leaving much more driving time on the same card.
WDR night vision: what the camera sees when your eyes can no longer see
The large F/1.8 aperture combined with WDR processing automatically balances bright and dark areas in the same image. Exiting a tunnel, oncoming headlights, underground parking: the night vision dashcam maintains a usable level of detail where an entry-level camera would overexpose to white or collapse into digital noise. 3D noise reduction and automatic white balance complete the system.
- Automatic reversing aid — when reversing, the image switches to a close-up maneuvering view and then automatically returns to driving view.
- 24-hour parking surveillance — with the optional wiring kit, the shock sensor wakes the device and triggers recording.
- Time-lapse video — one frame per second in parking mode, to cover an entire night without saturating the card.
- GPS with route playback — speed and route replayed on a computer via the dedicated GX Player reader.
- Wi-Fi and Viidure app — live preview, download and sharing of clips from iOS as well as Android.
- 6 or 10 m rear cable, your choice — 10 m for estates, SUVs, minivans and vans.
Mounting the camera mirror without drilling or disassembly
The housing clips onto the original mirror with straps; the power supply goes through the cigarette lighter. The rear module is fixed above the license plate or on the rear window, then the cable is routed along the headliner trim. For maneuvering assistance, the red signal wire connects to the reverse light — if you do not want this feature, simply leave it disconnected. The 24-hour surveillance kit connects directly to the battery or ACC: the manufacturer recommends entrusting this connection to a professional, as interfaces vary from one vehicle model to another. Compatibility should be checked according to your car's version.
Which memory card for a 4K dashcam, and how to prepare it?
Count on a branded U3 Class 10 microSD card, from 32 to 256 GB. Low-end cards cannot handle a continuous 4K bitrate and cause cutouts and unreadable files. A point often forgotten: format the card directly in the device menu, never from a computer, otherwise the device will not pair it correctly. The card is offered as an option on this product page, in 64 or 128 GB.
