Fitting steps

1. Dry-fit the diffuser

   Place the diffuser under the rear bumper of your BMW 1 Series (F20 or F21, 2015-2019) and check the alignment with the exhaust outlets. Before fitting, check that the version received (Outlet Double-Single, Outlet Single-Single) is the one you ordered.

2. Remove the original part

   Remove the screws and clips under the bumper, then unclip the original skirt or diffuser.

3. Clean and degrease

   Wash the fitting area, then degrease it with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.

4. Stick on the diffuser

   Dry-fit the diffuser, peel the film off the double-sided tape, then press firmly for 30 seconds over the whole surface.

5. Check the result

   Check the alignment with the exhaust outlets and the clearance from the ground.

• Put the vehicle on jack stands or a lift: never work under a car held up only by the jack.
• Let the exhaust cool down before working near it.
• Fit above 59 °F (15 °C) and avoid washing for 24 h: the adhesive reaches full strength after that time.
