Fitting steps

1. Dry-fit the diffuser

   Place the diffuser under the rear bumper of your Mercedes-Benz CLA (W117 or C117, 2013-2018) and check the alignment with the exhaust outlets. Check the package contents: 1 rear diffuser, 45 AMG type exhaust tips, 2 fixing sets (pre/post facelift), Fitting instructions.

2. Remove the original part

   Remove the screws and clips under the bumper, then unclip the original skirt or diffuser.

3. Mark and drill

   Hold the diffuser in place, mark the holes, then drill first with a small bit before the final diameter.

4. Protect and fix

   Deburr, apply an anti-rust product to the edges of the holes, then fix the diffuser with the hardware and seals.

5. Check the result

   Check the alignment with the exhaust outlets and the clearance from the ground.

• Check what is behind the panel before drilling (wiring, reinforcements).
• Put the vehicle on jack stands or a lift: never work under a car held up only by the jack.
• Let the exhaust cool down before working near it.
