Fitting steps

1. Dry-fit the diffuser

   Place the diffuser under the rear bumper of your BMW 1 Series F40 (2019-2024) and check the alignment with the exhaust outlets. Check the package contents: Diffuser, Fixings kit, Simplified fitting instructions. Before fitting, check that the version received (Carbon replica finish, Gloss black) is the one you ordered.

2. Remove the original part

   Remove the screws and clips under the bumper, then unclip the original skirt or diffuser.

3. Fit the diffuser

   Fit the diffuser in place of the original part, on the same mounts. No modification is needed.

4. Check the result

   Check the alignment with the exhaust outlets and the clearance from the ground.

• Put the vehicle on jack stands or a lift: never work under a car held up only by the jack.
• Let the exhaust cool down before working near it.
• Wash the carbon with soapy water and protect its clear coat from UV with a suitable wax.
