Rear Bumper Diffuser Mercedes C-Class W205 2015-2021

Useful tools

• Torx screwdriver
• Socket wrench
• Plastic trim removal kit
• Jack and jack stands
• Isopropyl alcohol

Fitting steps

1. Dry-fit the diffuser

Place the diffuser under the rear bumper of your Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 (2015-2021) and check the alignment with the exhaust outlets. Before fitting, check that the version received (Carbon Look, Gloss Black) is the one you ordered.

2. Remove the original part

Remove the screws and clips under the bumper, then unclip the original skirt or diffuser.

3. Clean and degrease

Wash the fitting area, then degrease it with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.

4. Clip on and stick

First engage the clips, then press the adhesive areas firmly for 30 seconds.

5. Check the result

Check the alignment with the exhaust outlets and the clearance from the ground.

• Put the vehicle on jack stands or a lift: never work under a car held up only by the jack.
• Let the exhaust cool down before working near it.
• Fit above 59 °F (15 °C) and avoid washing for 24 h: the adhesive reaches full strength after that time.
