Attention: this module replaces the factory LED version, not the halogen

This is the most important restriction for this part number, and we prefer to highlight it rather than hide it at the bottom of the page. This module is designed for vehicles originally equipped with a factory LED license plate light: it is not suitable for versions where the license plate light takes a standard halogen bulb, as the connector and cutout are different. Also note that the Infiniti Q50 pre-LCI 2014-2017 is expressly excluded from the compatibility list. Therefore, check the type of unit installed on your vehicle before ordering.

Installing these license plate lights on a Megane IV or Duster

The operation is done from the outside, with the tailgate open. A side push on the spring side releases the clip, the unit comes out toward the front, and you unplug and reconnect the new module.
