Fitting steps

1. Prepare the power supply

   Locate a protected 12 V power supply (parking lights or after ignition) on your Lexus and the cable route. Check the package contents: Emblem, 60 cm wiring. Part designed for: Lexus ES and RX. Check that your vehicle is one of them. Before fitting, check that the version received (Blue, Red, White) is the one you ordered.

2. Remove the original emblem

   Turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery. Remove the original emblem (adhesive or pins); on a grille, it often has to be removed.

3. Clean and degrease

   Wash the fitting area, then degrease it with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.

4. Stick on the illuminated emblem

   Dry-fit the illuminated emblem, peel the film off the 3M tape, then press firmly for 30 seconds over the whole surface.

5. Connect the power

   Connect the positive wire to a fused 12 V supply and the ground wire to a metal point. Insulate every connection.

6. Test the lighting

   Turn on the ignition and the lights: the emblem must light up steadily.

• Check the regulations: an illuminated front logo may be banned on public roads depending on its color.
• Fit above 59 °F (15 °C) and avoid washing for 24 h: the adhesive reaches full strength after that time.
