Fitting steps
- Locate the original paddles
Note the shape and mounts of the original paddles of your Porsche, with the wheels straight and the engine off. Before fitting, check that the version received (Effect Fiber Carbon, Effect Forged Carbon, Carbon Look Red) is the one you ordered.
- Dry-fit the paddles
Hold the paddles in place without fixing them to check the fit and mark the exact position.
- Stick on the extensions
Degrease the original paddles, peel the film off the adhesive and press each extension for 30 seconds.
- Test the gear changes
With the engine off, operate each paddle: the click must be crisp.
- Do not disconnect the airbag unless the instructions ask you to.
- Fit above 59 °F (15 °C) and avoid washing for 24 h: the adhesive reaches full strength after that time.
- Wash the carbon with soapy water and protect its clear coat from UV with a suitable wax.
