Fitting steps
- Locate the original paddles
Note the shape and mounts of the original paddles of your BMW, with the wheels straight and the engine off. Part designed for: BMW 5 Series F10, 1 Series F20, 3 Series F30, 2 Series F22 and 4 Series F32. Check that your vehicle is one of them. Before fitting, check that the version received (Black, Aluminum, Blue) is the one you ordered.
- Dry-fit the paddles
Hold the paddles in place without fixing them to check the fit and mark the exact position.
- Clip on the paddles
Push each paddle onto its mount until it clicks, first on the left, then on the right.
- Test the gear changes
With the engine off, operate each paddle: the click must be crisp.
- If the airbag must be removed, disconnect the battery and wait at least 10 minutes before touching it.
- Do not disconnect the airbag unless the instructions ask you to.
