Fitting steps

1. Prepare the replacement

   Turn off the ignition and the lights. Open the trunk or tailgate of your Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W176 or W177, 2018-2022) and remove the trim that gives access to the light. Identify the side (left or right) before you start.

2. Remove the original light

   Unplug the connector, unscrew the mounting nuts, then pull the light backwards.

3. Screw on the tail light

   Secure the tail light with the screws on the original mounting points. Tighten gradually, without forcing.

4. Plug in the connector

   Reconnect the original connector to the tail light until the lock clicks.

5. Test all the lights

   Test the parking lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse and fog lights before refitting the trim.

• Check that the seal is watertight to avoid condensation.
• Replace in pairs for an even look.
