Fitting steps

1. Prepare the replacement

   Turn off the ignition and the lights. Open the trunk or tailgate of your Mercedes-Benz E-Class W124 (1985-1996) and remove the trim that gives access to the light. Identify the side (left or right) before you start.

2. Remove the original light

   Unplug the connector, unscrew the mounting nuts, then pull the light backwards.

3. Clip on, then screw

   First engage the clips in their slots, then tighten the screws. Do not force the plastic.

4. Plug in the connector

   Reconnect the original connector to the tail light until the lock clicks.

5. Test all the lights

   Test the parking lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse and fog lights before refitting the trim.

• Check that the seal is watertight to avoid condensation.
• Replace in pairs for an even look.
