Useful tools

• Socket wrench
• Screwdriver
• Plastic trim removal kit

Fitting steps

1. Prepare the replacement

Turn off the ignition and the lights. Open the trunk or tailgate of your Audi Q5 (2017-2021) and remove the trim that gives access to the light. Compare with the original part number 80A945069A / 80A945070A. Identify the side (left or right) before you start. Before fitting, check that the version received (EU Version, US Version) is the one you ordered.

2. Remove the original light

Unplug the connector, unscrew the mounting nuts, then pull the light backwards.

3. Fit the tail lights

Fit the tail lights in place of the original part, on the same mounts. No modification is needed.

4. Plug in the connector

Plug the tail lights into the original connector of your Audi Q5 (2017-2021). No wires need to be cut.

5. Test all the lights

Test the parking lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse and fog lights before refitting the trim.
