Fitting steps

  1. Prepare the fitting

    Locate the position of the daytime running lights on your Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 (2010-2016) and the cable route. Compare with the original part number 2128200756 / 2128200856. Identify the side (left or right) before you start.

  2. Cut the power

    Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal before touching the electrical circuit.

  3. Fit the daytime running lights

    Fit the daytime running lights in place of the original part, on the same mounts. No modification is needed.

  4. Plug in the connector

    Plug the daytime running lights into the original connector of your Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 (2010-2016). No wires need to be cut.

  5. Test the functions

    With the ignition on, the daytime running lights must come on; they must dim or switch off with the low beams depending on the model.
