Fitting steps
- Compare with the original grille
Compare the shape and mounting points with the grille of your Audi. Part designed for: Audi A3 and S3, A4, A6, Q5, A5, A7 and S7, A8, Q3 and Q7. Check that your vehicle is one of them. Before fitting, check that the version received (249 mm, 285 mm, 273 mm) is the one you ordered.
- Remove the original grille
Open the hood, remove the top screws and clips, then unclip the grille. On some models, the bumper must be loosened.
- Fit the grille
Fit the grille in place of the original part, on the same mounts.
- Connect the power
Connect the positive wire to a fused 12 V supply and the ground wire to a metal point. Insulate every connection.
- Check the alignment
Check the gaps with the hood, headlights and bumper. Make sure the emblem and sensors are properly refitted.
- Protect the bumper with masking tape before prying.
- Transfer the emblem and the sensor brackets from the old grille.
