- Locate the original paddles
Note the shape and mounts of the original paddles of your BMW M4, with the wheels straight and the engine off. Before fitting, check that the version received (Matte carbon black, Gloss carbon black, Gloss carbon red) is the one you ordered.
- Dry-fit the paddles
Hold the paddles in place without fixing them to check the fit and mark the exact position.
- Screw on the paddles
Turn the steering wheel a quarter turn, remove the screws of the original paddles if needed, then screw on the new paddles without forcing.
- Test the gear changes
With the engine off, operate each paddle: the click must be crisp.
- Do not disconnect the airbag unless the instructions ask you to.
- Wash the carbon with soapy water and protect its clear coat from UV with a suitable wax.
