Fitting steps
- Locate the original paddles
Note the shape and mounts of the original paddles of your Mercedes-Benz, with the wheels straight and the engine off. Part designed for: Mercedes-Benz A-Class W176, B-Class W246 and C-Class W204. Check that your vehicle is one of them. Before fitting, check that the version received (Black, Silver, Red) is the one you ordered.
- Dry-fit the paddles
Hold the paddles in place without fixing them to check the fit and mark the exact position.
- Screw on the paddles
Turn the steering wheel a quarter turn, remove the screws of the original paddles if needed, then screw on the new paddles without forcing.
- Test the gear changes
With the engine off, operate each paddle: the click must be crisp.
- Do not disconnect the airbag unless the instructions ask you to.
