Fitting steps

1. Prepare the work area

   Check that the bumper matches your BMW X5 G05 (2019-2023): sensors, headlight washers, fog lights. Painting is often needed before fitting.

2. Remove the original bumper

   Remove the screws in the wheel arches and underneath, unplug the sensors and lights, then pull off the bumper.

3. Clean and degrease

   Wash the fitting area, then degrease it with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.

4. Stick on the bumper

   Dry-fit the bumper, peel the film off the double-sided tape, then press firmly for 30 seconds over the whole surface.

5. Check and adjust

   Check the gaps with the fenders, hood and headlights. Test the sensors, fog lights and headlight washers.

• Have the bumper painted before fitting if needed.
• Fitting by a body shop is recommended for a perfect fit.
• Fit above 59 °F (15 °C) and avoid washing for 24 h: the adhesive reaches full strength after that time.
