Fitting steps

1. Prepare the replacement

Check the type of original headlights of your Volkswagen Golf MK7 (2013-2017) (halogen, xenon or LED) and the connector. Identify the side (left or right) before you start.

2. Cut the power

Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal before touching the electrical circuit.

3. Remove the original headlights

Remove the bumper or grille if necessary, unplug the connector and unscrew the headlight.

4. Fit the headlights

Fit the headlights in place of the original part, on the same mounts. No modification is needed.

5. Plug in the connector

Reconnect the original connector to the headlights until the lock clicks.

6. Adjust the headlights

Have the beam height adjusted, then test all functions (low beam, high beam, turn signal, daytime running lights).

• Headlight adjustment is mandatory after replacement.
• Professional fitting is recommended: bumper and adjustment.
