Volkswagen Golf 6 MK6 R20 2009-2012 LED Headlights — sporty look and daytime signature
Transform the front of your 2009 to 2012 Volkswagen Golf 6 (MK6, R20) with this pair of dual-projector Golf 6 headlights and LED daytime running lights. Designed for enthusiasts who want a modern and dynamic look, these light units instantly enhance your Golf. Two projectors aligned in the same housing, a daytime strip highlighting the upper edge: the front end gains in technical sophistication and the MK6 finally gets the look of the most advanced versions.
A design created for your Volkswagen Golf 6 MK6
The dual projector and LED daytime signature give your Golf a bold look. Available in several lens tints (GTI red, smoked, silver TSI), they follow the lines of the front end for a personalized and refined finish. On a Golf 6 R20, this two-lens architecture creates a very marked contrast with the grille and gives the car additional visual width.
The result is immediate at night as well as in broad daylight: the LED daytime signature makes the car visible from afar and makes it look much newer than its year of manufacture.
Technology, quality & finish
High-brightness LED daytime running lights, high-performance dual projector, refined lens and robust housing: these headlights offer clear lighting and a premium style. The materials are designed to withstand the elements and last over time. On this type of dual-projector headlight, the separation of low and high beam functions allows for a sharper cut-off and better road visibility.
- Golf 6 MK6 R20 Headlights — complete pair, left and right, identical tint
- Dual LED projector — clear beam and instant ignition
- High-brightness LED daytime running lights — enhanced daytime visibility
- Several lens tints — GTI red, smoked or silver TSI depending on the desired style
- Weather-resistant housing — designed to last on a daily driver
Installation, compatibility & durability
Sold as a pair and designed as an OEM replacement, they are fitted in the designated location on the front end. Exact compatibility should be checked according to your vehicle's trim before installation; professional headlight adjustment is recommended. In practical terms, fitting headlights on a Golf 6 requires removing the front bumper, a standard operation that takes about an hour in a workshop.
Dual projector or single lens: what difference does it make on the road?
The two-projector configuration physically separates the lighting functions, which avoids compromises and offers a cleaner transition between low beams and high beams. Visually, the effect is just as striking: the dual-lens look is one of the most sought-after signatures on the MK6, and it immediately distinguishes a modified Golf from a standard Golf.
