Fitting steps

  1. Prepare the replacement

    Turn off the ignition and the lights. Open the trunk or tailgate of your Jeep Renegade (2015-2023) and remove the trim that gives access to the light. Check the package contents: 1 Holder, 1 Socket, 3 Bulbs. Compare with the original part number 68270837AA / 68458452AA.

  2. Remove the original light

    Unplug the connector, unscrew the mounting nuts, then pull the light backwards.

  3. Fit the tail light

    Fit the tail light in place of the original part, on the same mounts. No modification is needed.

  4. Plug in the connector

    Reconnect the original connector to the tail light until the lock clicks.

  5. Code if necessary

    Depending on the version of your Jeep Renegade (2015-2023), coding with a diagnostic tool may be needed to activate all functions.

  6. Test all the lights

    Test the parking lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse and fog lights before refitting the trim.

  • Check that the seal is watertight to avoid condensation.
